Comedy Night returns to Harlow Rugby Club

HARLOW Comedy Club returns with its June offering. This month and next we are running Edinburgh Fringe previews, and for June we have the wonderful talents of Patrick Monahan and Vikki Stone*! More info on these great acts and their shows can be found below. And of course your resident MC Paul Wade returns.

As usual doors open at 7:30pm, with the show beginning at 8pm.

Food will be available to pre-order at the start from The Rams Kitchen for service in the interval.

PATRICK MONAHAN

Audience favourite Patrick Monahan blends a high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material. Known for working a room, Patrick is adored by his audiences with whom he makes an effortless connection!

Patrick has worked as host of ‘Jongleurs Live!’ and ‘12 Again’. Other TV appearances include ‘Splash’, ‘Comedy Annual’, ‘Daybreak’, ‘Loose Women’ and ‘The Wright Stuff’. Winner of the ITV series ‘Show Me The Funny’ which led to the release of his debut DVD ‘Patrick Monahan Live’ (2 Entertain).

He also took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, was named Britain’s Hardest Working Comedian in 2015, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his Edinburgh hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’. He is regularly in demand for spots at the top UK comedy clubs, although for the past few years he has spent a lot of his time touring his own shows.

VIKKI STONE

Vikki Stone is a multi-talented comedian, actress, singer and musician and winner of The Soho Theatre One Night Stand Up Award. Her unique mix of stand up and musical comedy has made her one of the fastest rising stars of British comedy. She performs regularly across the country at major clubs, festivals and theatres as well as appearing regularly on television.

Vikki’s debut Edinburgh Show, Big Neon Letters, played to sell-out audiences both in Edinburgh and London’s Soho Theatre, and received critical acclaim including The Observer’s Comedy Top 5 Edinburgh Shows 2011. Her follow up show, Hot Mess, sold out its entire run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, adding four extra shows due to phenomenal public demand.
Her TV appearances include ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’, ‘That Sunday Night Show’, ‘This Morning’, ‘Richard Hammond’s Secret Service’, ‘Most Annoying People’, ‘Britain in Bed’, ‘The Hilary Devey Story’, ‘Flash Prank’, ‘The Hour’ and ‘Greatest Ever 3D Moments’.

VIKKI STONE: SONG BIRD

Multi award-winning comedian and musician Vikki Stone returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with a new show of her trademark comedy songs and stand-up. Whilst in previews, Song Bird was nominated for Best Musical Show at the 2019 Leicester Comedy Festival Awards.
