The Harvey Centre Hosts Arts and Craft Fun
ON Saturday 1st June, The Harvey Centre in Harlow hosted a day of arts and craft fun with the first of a series of craft workshops held upstairs in the centre next to the Resource Centre.
The workshops started at 10am and ran every hour throughout the day, costing just £10 for adults and £6 for children to participate. In the workshops, customers were helped to create their own unique greetings cards using a variety of crafting techniques.
The event was a great opportunity for Harlow residents to meet each other and socialise with like-minded individuals.
The next event is planned for Saturday 6th July, when customers will have another opportunity to let their creative side run wild and make their own unique items to take home.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We’re very excited about this series of events, which not only encourage participants to learn new skills and get creative but create a sense of community here at The Harvey Centre, which is something that we’re very passionate about.”
