Harlow councillor calls police over racist graffiti

Harlow Council and HTS Ltd removed the offending graffiti form the road.
Harlow Council has reported it as a hate crime.

A HARLOW councillor has contacted the police over racist and offensive graffiti daubed on a road in Harlow.
Toddbrook councillor, Frances Mason discovered the shocking graffiti whilst on a walk on Sunday morning (June 23rd).
The graffiti was written on the new road opposite Mark Hall Sports Centre that leads down to the new developments in New Hall.
Cllr Mason said: ‘I was shocked to see extremely offensive and racist graffiti whilst walking with my husband and dog on Sunday morning.
This graffiti is large in scale with blue spray paint and would be clearly visible from above.
“I am saddened this type of racist and sexist abuse is present in our town, the perpetrators need to be found and held to account. The matter will be reported to Essex Police”.
YH went down and took photographs but has decided to only use one from a distance.
