Teenage pleads guilty to possessing machete in Staple Tye

A HARLOW teenager has pleaded guilty to possessing a machete in Staple Tye.

The sixteen-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with the following.

On 26/06/2019 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Staple Tye an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a Machete.

On 26/06/2019 at Harlow, stole Oasis drink, to the value of £1.49, belonging to Dominos.

On 25/06/2019 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Northbrooks an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a large knife.

The teenager has been remanded into local authority care.

Their next appearance at Chelmsford magistrates court is set for July 19th.
