The Maples: Police appeal after trail of blood found outside house

ESSEX Police are appealing for information after someone is thought to have been injured at a house in Harlow.

We were called shortly after 9.45am today, Saturday 13 July, with reports blood had been found outside the property in The Maples.

Officers attended but no-one was found inside the house. A number of cannabis plants were found.

Detective Inspector David Browning said: “I am concerned that someone has been injured and I’m asking them to please come forward so we can check on their welfare and ensure they receive any medical treatment they need.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious overnight or into the early hours of this morning.

“The caller reported they had heard shouts for help at about 3am and it’s possible this is linked.”
