Harlow Tories question council over plans for new Gypsy-Traveller site in Harlow

HARLOW Conservative councillors quizzed the Labour-run Harlow Council over references to a Gypsy-Traveller site in the east of Harlow.

References to such a plan appear in the Epping Forest District Council masterplan for housing and growth.

Councillor Mike Hardware put the question to portfolio holder, Cllr Danny Purton.

Sounds suspiciously like the Harlow council’s standard answer to much of the Local Plan. Harlow has been left to the mercy of Epping & Herts Come on Harlow Council , grow a pair and make sure you really are doing what needs to be done to defend, protect the best interests of Harlow.

If epping want it so bad let them make room for the site
