ON Tuesday 15th October, Holy Cross were lucky enough to have a visit from Paul Sturgess, the world’s tallest professional basketball player and Britain’s tallest man at 7ft 7.26inches.

Paul, who used to play for the Harlem Globetrotters, kicked off the day with an inspirational assembly and talked about how we are all different and we should be proud of our differences and it’s from being positive about his “difference” that has lead him to achieve so much in his life – a true inspiration.

Every class then took part in basketball workshops with him and learnt some very cool tricks such as spinning the ball on the tip of their finger!!!
