Harlow man set to stand trial over sending silver bullet through post

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial on charges of assault and harassment including an allegation that he sent a silver bullet through the post.
Francis Monk, aged 67, of Fold Croft, Harlow faces the following charges.
On 29/09/2018 at Harlow assaulted another, thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm.
Between 28/09/2018 and 21/02/2019 at Essex caused a male to fear that violence would be used against him by your course of conduct which you knew or ought to have known would cause fear of violence to him on each occasion in that on 29/09/2019 you attended his home address and was abusive towards him; on 28/11/2018 you drove past his house, swore and spat on the floor; since November, you have driven past slowly and stared into his window; on 08/02/2019 you sent a parcel containing a silver bullet to his father’s address; and on 20/02/2019 used a ladder to stare into his address for 10 mins.
A trial date of November 11th at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.
