DO you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to making Harlow a place to be proud of?

It could be an individual, an organisation, or a company. They could make a direct contribution to the cultural life of Harlow, improve our natural or built environment, help others through volunteering, or make an outstanding contribution to putting Harlow on the national or international map through their sporting, artistic, academic or business achievements.

Basically anyone that makes Harlow a better place, and extols its many positive virtues.

Proud of Harlow obviously have lots of ideas, and will making the first awards in the next few weeks, but starting in the New Year they will be awarding one or two a month.

The winners will receive one of the medals below (they are quite a bit bigger, and heavier than they look in this photo!), as well as a bit of a write up, and their eternal gratitude.
