ONE OF Harlow’s most promising athletes put in a very promising performance in Liverpool on Saturday.

Henry Moore pupil, Autumn Le Chevalier-Jones is a Year 5 pupil competing against Year 6 but managed a very impressive seventh place in the UK Cross Challenge and European Trial.

On a very muddy, 2k course, Autumn clocked 7 mins 56 secs.

Autumn is a member of John Stow’s middle distance group at Woodford Green and Essex Ladies.

She has won the Harlow Cross-Country Champs for the last two years.
