GE19: Lib Dem candidate made of stern stuff as campaign heats up

IT was bitterly cold up on the Broad Walk in Harlow on Sunday morning but that did not stop the Lib Dem’s prospective parliamentary candidate, Charlotte Cane and her team, from campaigning.
With just ten days to go, their team are still in positive mood and like her performance in Harlow’s Question Time, Charlotte Cane is proving no pushover.

So, if you are prepared to work with other parties for a second referendum, start now. It's clear that you are running a poor third in Harlow so stand down now and throw your support behind Labour. It is the *only* route to 'remain' for LD voters in Harlow if they are not to completely waste their votes. If, in the early hours of 13th December, it turns out that the Boris-Johnson-Apologist Halfon has squeaked in by a few hundred votes as a result of you splitting the anti-Tory vote, you will be culpable and I would hope very ashamed. Time to atone for 2010, and see the bigger picture.

Morning, Micky. I see you are up bright and early to burp out your morning hate. If you can be bothered to read my comment you'll see that my main issue is what LD voters do *if* they want to get their second referendum. I'm much more concerned with stopping this far-right free-market Johnson government getting back in and I don't want a few remain-obsessed Lib Dems from making what I think is the wrong choice. Toodle-pip.

Where have you been living since 2010? Even small-c conservative bodies like the IFS recognise that poverty, especially child poverty, sorry POVERTY, has risen under the Tories. And their austerity programme was a deliberate choice. Despite the 'all in together' bullshit. Look at some evidence rather than just trotting out the same old insults and rants like some sad local Donald Trump.

The millions that Blair allowed into the UK, mostly poverty stricken, who paid for them ? If you haven't worked it out yet, just some of the reasons for " austerity". It's usually called, budgeting, just like most of us have to do. It's weird, isn't it, that every time the REDS had hold of our economy, we ended up, afterwards, with, "budgeting" ?

Hahaha. Try the argument about prudent budgeting out on the current Chancellor who was gambling on derivatives in 2008 - the kind of speculation that led to the financial crash. From the same site: "Boris Johnson could be deprived of a Commons majority if just 117,000 people vote tactically to defeat Tory candidates, according to a new poll." There are several tatical voting web sites. It may be work checking them to see what the best option is to keep The Clown out.

All the tactical voting sites, even the ones making pretty dubious claims about the LD's chances in other constituencies, are clear that you should vote Labour in Harlow.

Fun fact I've just read: poverty is mentioned 40 times in Labour’s manifesto; 24 times by the Liberal Democrats and only three times by the Tories. Mickey mentioned poverty twice here, thats only one less than in the Tory manifesto.
