GE19: Lib Dem candidate made of stern stuff as campaign heats up

IT was bitterly cold up on the Broad Walk in Harlow on Sunday morning but that did not stop the Lib Dem’s prospective parliamentary candidate, Charlotte Cane and her team, from campaigning.

With just ten days to go, their team are still in positive mood and like her performance in Harlow’s Question Time, Charlotte Cane is proving no pushover.

So, if you are prepared to work with other parties for a second referendum, start now. It’s clear that you are running a poor third in Harlow so stand down now and throw your support behind Labour. It is the *only* route to ‘remain’ for LD voters in Harlow if they are not to completely waste their votes.

If, in the early hours of 13th December, it turns out that the Boris-Johnson-Apologist Halfon has squeaked in by a few hundred votes as a result of you splitting the anti-Tory vote, you will be culpable and I would hope very ashamed.

Time to atone for 2010, and see the bigger picture.

Loony Leftie still carping on about losing the referendum.
Out means out, just like these people, out of touch with reality and very poor losers.
Lib Dem owe an apology to 17.4 million people. As do the Marxists.

Morning, Micky. I see you are up bright and early to burp out your morning hate. If you can be bothered to read my comment you’ll see that my main issue is what LD voters do *if* they want to get their second referendum. I’m much more concerned with stopping this far-right free-market Johnson government getting back in and I don’t want a few remain-obsessed Lib Dems from making what I think is the wrong choice. Toodle-pip.

Common knowledge, a vote for the ” Lab-Dems” is a wasted vote, but the
anti capitalists still persist with out-dated drivel.
” hate”, typical trash talk from the expert.
    Labour breeds P O V E R T Y.

Where have you been living since 2010? Even small-c conservative bodies like the IFS recognise that poverty, especially child poverty, sorry POVERTY, has risen under the Tories. And their austerity programme was a deliberate choice. Despite the ‘all in together’ bullshit. Look at some evidence rather than just trotting out the same old insults and rants like some sad local Donald Trump.

Bliar, Brown and Darling sent us all down the drain with wars, lies and misjudgements galore. G W Bush ?
Don’t forget the billions we lost due to Brown selling off half of our gold reserves.
Why do you Marxists keep lying ?
It’s amazing really, since the beginning of time you dreamers have blamed everybody for your ineptitude, whether you’re in or out of government.
The millions that Blair allowed into the UK, mostly poverty stricken, who paid for them ?
If you haven’t worked it out yet, just some of the reasons for ” austerity”.
It’s usually called, budgeting, just like most of us have to do.
It’s weird, isn’t it, that every time the REDS had hold of our economy, we ended up, afterwards, with, “budgeting” ?

  7. Towpath_Rat   December 3, 2019 at 11:47 am

Hahaha. Try the argument about prudent budgeting out on the current Chancellor who was gambling on derivatives in 2008 – the kind of speculation that led to the financial crash. Labour didn’t cause the crash, bankers did. Why do you keep on falling for the Tory lies?

Also, that little vein on your forehead is throbbing visibly; maybe have a lie down?

  8. MickyB77   December 3, 2019 at 1:24 pm

    Got you rattled then ?
Answer any single point, without lying !
Mostly poor people have been voting Labour for years, and the funny thing is that they’re still poor, all that deceit from Bliar and Brown didn’t improve their lives one iota.
Are you laughing about that ?

  9. Towpath_Rat   December 3, 2019 at 2:47 pm

It’ll take more than bits of the Daily Express online cut and pasted – I know they like CAPITAL letters LIKE YOU DO to get me rattled, I’m afraid. I didn’t care much for Brown and Blair myself. But you need to up your game beyond screaming REDS! MARXISTS! like a deranged UKIP parrot.

  10. MickyB77   December 3, 2019 at 4:44 pm

More lies yet again are the trade mark of the true Marxist, I’ve found.

Bliar, ” they’ve got weapons of mass destruction ” !

    Corbynski, ” they’re selling off the NHS ” !

Old traditions never die, do they ?

    QED. Awwwwrk!

“Nearly one-third of voters claim they will vote tactically at election, new poll finds”
“Research by BMG found 30% of people said they would be “voting for the best-positioned party/candidate to keep out another party/candidate that I dislike” on 12 December.”

    From the same site:
“Boris Johnson could be deprived of a Commons majority if just 117,000 people vote tactically to defeat Tory candidates, according to a new poll.”

There are several tatical voting web sites. It may be work checking them to see what the best option is to keep The Clown out.

  13. Towpath_Rat   December 3, 2019 at 8:38 pm

All the tactical voting sites, even the ones making pretty dubious claims about the LD’s chances in other constituencies, are clear that you should vote Labour in Harlow.

  14. kthe5   December 3, 2019 at 10:40 pm

Fun fact I’ve just read: poverty is mentioned 40 times in Labour’s manifesto; 24 times by the Liberal Democrats and only three times by the Tories.
Mickey mentioned poverty twice here, thats only one less than in the Tory manifesto.

  15. MickyB77   December 4, 2019 at 11:36 am

Here we go, the Marxists and their dubious “tactical voting sites “, are now
telling the public who they should vote for, wishful thinking.
kt, saucey as ever, especially at night, now classifies figures that she finds amusing, because they relate to “poverty”.
    Labour breeds POVERTY.

Hot off the press from one of the lefty ” Bibles”, Corbyn is a waste of space.
