HARLOW Tri Club (HTC) is pleased to report that five of its members have qualified to represent Great Britain in the 2020 European Triathlon Union Age-Group Multisport Championships in Walchsee, Austria, next June.
Louise Kedge will once again be competing in the Aquabike event (1900m swim & 90km bike), having previously raced in Ibiza in 2018 (placed 5th), and will be hoping to build on the excellent domestic results that she achieved this season.
Gail Nicholls, Andrew Kitson, Ryan Smith and Paul Schroder will all be competing in the Aquathon event (1km swim & 5km run).
Gail came 9th in the World championships earlier this year and Andrew came 4th in the European’s. This will be the first time that Ryan and Paul have represented Great Britain having achieved the qualifying standard through events in 2019.
This will be the 4th successive season that HTC members have represented Great Britain in European and/or World competitions and we’re immensely proud to see our members compete at an International level.
