GE19: Robert Halfon makes the final push as General Election Day looms

THIS WAS the last weekend of campaigning for the candidates in General Election of 2019.

We caught up with the Conservative candidate, Robert Halfon after he had just visited the Makers Market in the Town Centre.

The central plank of his campaign has been “Get Brexit Done”. Has that really been the main concern for Harlow voters or is what the Conservatives want you to think.

As we sat in the market square, one couple approached Mr Halfon and asked about the new hospital, another man, simply asked if he could help him out on Thursday.

So, we sat down for a final time until Thursday night/Friday morning to question the Conservative candidate.

Robert Halfon in 2016: “Not only is the EU alliance of democracies made stronger by Britain’s presence, but it also means that we have at least a chance of ensuring that our democratic friends in Europe go in the right direction.”. And now you do nothing but spout Boris Johnson’ stupid “Get Brexit Done”, and repeat his isolationist and racist “protect our borders” slogans. You are at best weak and desperate to cling on to power, at worst, a political opportunist prepared to compromise your beliefs. Or perhaps nothing – but nothing – that you say can be trusted.

I some-times wonder if T-Rat is on the same planet as the rest of us.
Like the rest of them at central office.

Just pointing out that our local MP appears to be able to change his political position entirely to keep the Tory leadership happy.

Not like you Micky, you are nothing if not consistent in your ranting 🙂
