Schools pay their respects to tragic Harley Watson with a minutes applause

Education: Secondary / Mon 9th Dec 2019 at 07:59pm

SCHOOLS across West Essex came together to give a minute’s applause for 12-year-old Harley Watson, who was knocked down and killed outside his school last week.

Led by Debden High School pupils and at the precise time of 12.08pm, thousands remembered Harley.

Passmores Academy students filled the central atrium of their school.

The Ongar Academy students took up several floors to make sure they paid their respects.

Along to Epping St John’s where the sound of applause echoed down the corridors.

We will add other schools as they come in.
