Education: Primary / Sun 22nd Dec 2019 at 02:40pm

TWO festive choirs visited The Princess Alexandra Hospital to bring some Christmas cheer on Tuesday (17 December).

Children from The Tany’s Dell Primary School in Harlow (pictured) sung a medley of Christmas carols for our patients and people at the restaurant in the morning.

At the same time, patient John Reynolds, from Bishop’s Stortford, was accompanied by local choirs in a carol performance at The Williams Day Unit, which supports people through their cancer treatment.

Deborah Stone, sister for The Williams Day Unit, said: “We are so grateful to John, together with the choir singers, for taking the time to visit us and give such beautiful renditions of a variety of Christmas carols.”

Phillipa Haslehurst, voluntary services manager, said: “A big thank you to the pupils of Tany’s Dell Primary School for treating us to this wonderful start to the festive season.

“Hearing these well-loved Christmas carols brightened all of our mornings.”
