Harlow Town Ladies continue to soar

HARLOW Town Ladies tightened their grip at the top of the Premier Division of Eastern Region Women’s Football League on Sunday, by a convincing victory over second placed Peterborough Northern Star.

Harlow took an early setback going 1-0 down in the opening minutes, but eventually came out top of a close and competitive first half, going into the break 3-2 up. In the second half they closed out the game, scoring another two goals without reply to finish up comfortable 5-2 victors.

Goals were by Amy Nash, Hannah Porter, Fran Gamble, Georgia Box and Abbey Dell.

Harlow Town Ladies are now nine points clear of second placed Peterborough with 10 games to play.

Harlow Town’s Ladies next home match is on Sunday 16th of February at 2pm against 8th placed Colney Heath.
