Record numbers take part in Harlow parkrun

A RECORD number of participants took part in the Harlow parkrun on Saturday morning.
The previous record stood at 303 but on Saturday, 323 ran, jogged,, walked, round the lovely 5k (3.1 mile) course in the town park.
Harlow parkrun has been running since November 2014. Since then, people have embraced th Edie of coming together on a Saturday morning to do something healthy.
There were a number of first timers on Saturday and so it is hoped that they return this Saturday at 9am.
There were also a number of landmarks reached.
Alan Wellbelove ran his 250th parkrun. He was running in parkruns outside Harlow before November 2014 but the ran in the first and continues to run Harlow as well as volunteer as a marshall and as a pacer.
Plus, the family that runs together. Michael and Anna Robey ran their 100th and their son Henry ran his 50th.
Come down on Saturday. You will love it as part of your healthier lifestyle.
