Harlow Council investigate accident in warehouse which left man in Addenbrookes Hospital

HARLOW Council has confirmed that it is investigating an accident at a warehouse that left a man being taken to Addenbrookes hospital.

YH reported on December 24th, that the ambulance service was called on December 18th to Sybron UK Ltd on Lovet Road after reports that a man had suffered “traumatic injuries” following a fall in the warehouse.

It is understood that the man was transferred from Princess Alexandra Hospital to Addenbrookes in Cambridgeshire.

The company reported that incident to the Health and Safety Executive but as the incident happened in a warehouse, it became the responsibility of the local council.

A spokesperson for Harlow Council said: “We were properly notified of an accident at the premises via the Health & Safety Executive, and can confirm that we are investigating.”
