A DISPERSAL order is being put in place in a part of Harlow in response to concerns about anti-social behaviour in the area.
The order is in place from 5pm today (Tuesday 28 January) until 2am tomorrow (Wednesday 29 January).
It follows an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in the Brockles Mead area since 12 January which have been causing alarm and distress to people living there.
Inspector Tony Walker, from the Harlow Community Policing Team, said: “We have been working with the community in Brocklesmead to reduce anti-social behaviour in the are and have had increased patrols there.
“To support this activity we’re putting this dispersal order in which gives my officers additional powers to deal with anyone who are behaving in an anti-social way.
“Officers will be in the area this evening and I urge residents to report any concerns they have to us so we can take action.”
