Eighteen months on, still no decision on Harlow’s paddling pools

EIGHTEEN months after they first mooted the idea of replacing paddling pools with splash parks, Harlow Council will discuss the findings of a report that looked at the pros and cons of the proposals.
Initially, it appeared that all councillors were in favour of the project, however a lifelong Harlow resident, Martin Dear started a petition calling for many of the paddling pools to be saved.
The report will be discussed at a meeting of the Harlow Council Scrutiny Committee on Tuesday February 11th at the Civic Offices in The Water Gardens.
