Covid-19: PM Boris Johnson “You must stay at home”

Covid-19 / Mon 23rd Mar 2020 at 08:43pm

THE PRIME Minister, Boris Johnson has just announced a raft of restrictions people in the UK are being urged to follow.

From tonight, people will be allowed to leave their homes for:

shopping for basic necessities, as infrequently as possible
one form of exercise a day – for example a run, walk, or cycle, alone or with members of their household;
any medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person;
travelling to and from work, but only where it is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home
This is not a lockdown, but it’s as close as you can get to one without it being called a lockdown.

So what has happend since a few days ago when he was telling everyone to keep 2 metres away from other people when he was standing about a yard from the government’s deputy chief medical officer? Was it more deaths that changed his mind? No. This happened due to pressure from other MPs, even some from his own party. At least he didn't have the audacity to use the "PROTECT THE NHS" sign after 10 years for cuts to all essential services. Who is going to enforce these restrictions?
