Homes, shops and a school coming to Gilden Park in Harlow this year
BOTH residents and buyers have plenty to look forward to at Taylor Wimpey’s Gilden Park development in Harlow this year, with a range of new homes and public facilities planned for the growing community.
Gilden Park includes one and two-bedroom apartments alongside two, three and four-bedroom homes on the outskirts of Harlow. The first residents moved in last year and are already enjoying the benefits of living in a new build home, but there is plenty more to come in 2020.
As well as a wide selection of plots, Gilden Park will also include a community centre, new shops, play areas and a brand new school. Not only will new residents be close to Harlow’s existing amenities and transport links, but they will also have plenty of day-to-day essentials on their doorstep.
Alex Hutter and Chelsie Coe moved into their new Alton G home at Gilden Park in 2019 and quickly fell in love with their new home. Chelsie said: “The open-plan kitchen with our breakfast bar looks so modern and spacious. We also absolutely love the large master bedroom on the top floor and the amount of open space in the garden, which was used a lot over the summer. Our dog Lola is really at home here too, so it’s great to see her settled.”
Michael O’Leary, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East London, said: “Gilden Park is a really exciting development, with fantastic links to London as well as easy access to all of Harlow’s shops, restaurants and sporting facilities. But the most exciting thing is seeing a new community grow within the site itself.
“There are some great facilities coming to Gilden Park and a beautiful selection of new homes on sale this year. It’s already a great place to live and we know it’s going to get even better. If you want to join the excitement, get in touch with our sales team and let them help you find your perfect home.”
Gilden Park is in Gilden Way, Harlow, Essex, CM17 0JF, close to the new junction 7a of the M11.

Wait for the traffic fiasco when the roads are re-arranged, you'll wish you had bought elsewhere.
Looks great! Perfect for young families. Driving distance to Harlow shopping centre and walking distance to Old Harlow. Very close to Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, London or Stansted Airport. Great location.
When will shops be built/ open on the development? Also where will these shops be located? A local shop is needed as the nearest shops are in Old Harlow, quite a distance away and not very convenient.
Hi l am Cengiz Kara la looking to for rent retail property. if the possible can you contact me please. thank you
February 2023 and still no shops, community center or allotments. Having now been told by the council there was never plans to have shops, even though every resident was sold their property being told it would have these facilities. Lived here for 18 months and my road still doesn't had tarmac.....
