Covid-19 / Mon 20th Apr 2020 at 10:03am

A FUNDRAISER for a carer from Tye Green Lodge who died has reached over £5,000.

As YH reported last week, father-of-two Patrick Kamau Ngigi died recently.

Six residents of the homes, who were transferred to PAH died with Covid-19. Eleven other residents have also died but the cause of death has yet to be ascertained.

One of the authors of the fundraiser page, has paid the following tribute.

“Patrick was a selfless man that devoted his life caring for others. Even after the sudden death of his dear wife Grace, a few years back, he never stopped helping others as he brought up his two daughters, Joy and Wendy who he greatly adored.

Patrick gave his best.

“The girls and community salutes him for having died on the front line doing what he loved most serving others”.
