A message from Daniel Robinson and Sons

IN these difficult and challenging times, we are working hard at Daniel Robinson & Sons to achieve a balanced approach to coping with the high numbers of bereavements, meeting Government guidance, whilst still providing the highest possible service to families. At the core of everything we do, we remember that everyone who has passed had their own unique story and we continue to do all we can to help their family and friends to plan a dignified and meaningful funeral.

Our ethos is to see what we can achieve rather than focus on the restrictions. All of our Funeral Homes have remained open, providing 24/7 help and advice. We have continued to provide a respectful service at all times, working in liaison with our local crematoria, clergy and celebrants who have assisted us to ensure that we fulfil funeral wishes in so far as is possible.

We recognise how hard it has been for the many extended family members and friends who have not been able to attend funerals, when they would have liked to have had the opportunity to do so. We are planning to organise some uplifting Memorial Services when restrictions are lifted. These Services will be free to attend for all those who wish to be there, irrespective of whether we have conducted the funeral, a chance to remember those who have passed and celebrate their lives together, in a fitting way. Information will be widely publicised on Your Harlow, once the arrangements have been made.

On a final note, I would like to give my personal thanks to the whole team at Daniel Robinson & Sons for their professionalism, hard work, care and dedication.
They are essential key workers who have gone above and beyond in recent weeks and have played a vital role in our community to care for the deceased and for their families.
