METRO Cars in Harlow have made a number of modifications to their vehicles as more and more people return to work.

Latest government guidance dictates that those returning to work or making essential travel should avoid using crowded public transport as part of their commutes.

MetroCars boss, Kyle Harris said: “As Harlow’s first choice private hire operator, we are taking measures to ensure customers can travel safely and with peace of mind.

All our vehicles are now fitted with partitions which we feel is the perfect solution to provide separation between the driver and passenger.

“This avoids unwanted and unnecessary contact plus it provides continued safety for both the driver and customer”.

Payments can still be made to the driver via a small open and close section.
