Templefields House resident to stand trial over assault and witness intimidation

A HARLOW resident is set to stand trial over allegations of assault and threats.
Jack McDermott, aged 30, of 19 Templefields House, River Way, Harlow, was charged with the following.
On 10/05/2020 at Harlow, assaulted a male, thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm.
On 13/05/2020 at Harlow, knowing or believing that a victim, was assisting in the investigation of an offence, did an act, namely shouted at him “Your…getting it again” which intimidated, and was intended to intimidate, a male, intending thereby to cause the investigation to be obstructed, perverted or interfered with.
McDermott is set to stand trial on June 11th at Chelmsford Crown Court.
He has been remanded in custody.
