THE NUMBER of deaths reported to NHS England by Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) remains at 201.
There have been no recorded deaths in last thirty four days.
The last death was registered on May 25th.
YH has asked the press office at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) to detail how many “active” cases of Covid-19 they have but they continue to refer us to the NHS England website, which is, well, complicated.
Each death is a tragedy and we will never overlook the thousands of deaths that have occurred but there are encouraging signs.
For example, there were 20 deaths in English hospitals registered on June 8th. That has subequently risen to 50,59,62 and has levelled out at 66. If you compare that to mid-April.
On April 4th there was 777 deaths registered in England. The dial tally peaked at 899 on April 8th and did not go below 500 until April 21st.
On June 14th, there were six deaths registered for the whole of England.
On June 21st, there were three deaths registered for the whole of England.
We hope this helps.
