HARLOW Town Football Club have paid tribute to Allison Hazel, a member of the Harlow Town Football Club family who has passed away.
Allison was a kind-hearted and popular figure at the Club, and over many years she has been a supporter, Ladies and Reserves Secretary, Child Welfare Officer, Club photographer, Club Shop volunteer, bar staff and, most importantly, a friend to many at the Club.
CEO Tim Sewell said: “I loved working with Allison, an incredibly selfless person who always wanted to do the right thing.
“One of her biggest achievements is that during her role as Club Welfare Officer she was instrumental in completing our Charter Standard Status.
“Her care for the club and the kids was second to none.”
The club went onto say:
“Allison was a keen amateur photographer and passionate teacher in a local primary school. She will be missed by all at the football club and those who knew her in the wider local community.
“She made no secret of her battle with mental illness and we would encourage anyone who finds themselves struggling, to speak up, find help, and know that there are those who love you.
“Allison will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with her friends and family at this extraordinarily difficult time. Rest in peace”.
