THE Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) is inviting members of the public to join its virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM is an opportunity to reflect on the past year, highlight key milestones, challenges and successes and look at ambitious future plans.
A major focus will be an overview of how the hospital is responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its plans for a new hospital, with an outline of the progress so far and next steps.
Local people, patients, staff and representatives are invited to join the AGM that will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, a secure video conferencing platform, to ensure that we all safely maintain social distancing.
The event will take place on Thursday 10 September, starting at 2pm and concluding at 3.30pm. If you would like to attend, please email [email protected] and you will be sent the link to join the meeting.
Lance McCarthy, chief executive of The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, said: “Our AGM is a fantastic opportunity to present our achievements over the last year to our community, demonstrating our commitment to providing high quality care and experiences for our patients.
“We will take people through our operational, clinical and financial performance, set out our significant service improvements and outline where further improvements are required.
“We will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have. Please take the time to come along and find out more about your local hospital. We look forward to welcoming you to our virtual event.”
