Harlow Council pledge support for residents in continuing fight against Covid-19

Harlow Council / Sun 4th Oct 2020 pm31 12:18pm

HARLOW councillors on both sides have come together to support the local community as we continue to fight against Covid-19.

YourHarlow, via Zoom, interviewed the deputy leader of Harlow Council, cllr Eugenie Harvey and the leader of the Harlow Conservatives, cllr Andrew Johnson.

In this twenty minute interview, both councillors set out their plans to support the community over the next six months.

Harlow Council is acutely aware that over 16,000 residents are on furlough until the end of the month (October).

YH understands that a sizeable number of the 16,000 are in the hospitality sector and could face a challenging future beyond October.

Both councillors were clear to stress what has been done and can be done for residents by Harlow Council and its partners.

This is just the first of a number of pieces detailing support for Harlow residents.
