Planning permission for 49 new homes in town centre

PLANNING permission for 49 homes in the town centre has been approved by the Harlow Council planning committee.
The location is a car park area between Wetherspoons on Kitson Way and Third Avenue.

Councillors praised the application for its commitment to affordable housing under what is called a Section 106 agreement.
Fourteen of the dwellings shall be provided as Affordable Housing of which: 12 of the Affordable Housing Dwellings shall be provided as Affordable Housing for Rent and two shall be Intermediate Affordable Housing.
