Cooks Spinney helped by Shadowfax “Clear IT Out”

Cooks Spinney Primary Academy / Wed 14th Oct 2020 at 04:45pm

LOCAL IT Support experts Shadowfax have launched the ‘Clear I.T. Out Campaign’.

The campaign aims to refurbish old, unused tech and donate to local schools who need IT equipment.

The campaign is the brainchild of Shadowfax Operations Manager Vanessa Pedder who really wanted to be able to help the local community and bring the children some cheer during these challenging times.

The campaign has already started to benefit schools. The campaign aims to benefit schools across both Hertfordshire and Essex regions.

On Tuesday, Shadowfax collected seven unused monitors from Total Comms Training in Harlow and delivered it straight to Cooks Spinney Primary School in Harlow.

Headteacher Mr Stirrat was very grateful of the donation.

All the children in the school will benefit from the use of the monitors in the school IT Suite.

A spokesperson said:

We are accepting working tablets, monitors, branded laptops and PCs.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept machines that no longer power on or have broken screens.  All donations will be wiped of data and tested prior to donation.
