Police appeal after large disturbance in Bush Fair

OFFICERS investigating a disturbance in Harlow are appealing for witnesses.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to Bush Fair, Harlow, to reports of a man being verbally abusive towards a woman at around 4.15pm on Tuesday 16 June.

Some men intervened in the situation and a disturbance involving pushing and shoving ensued.

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of a public order offence at the scene and he remains in custody.

Some members of the public who are believed to have been present, left the location prior to speaking to officers.

“We’d like to speak to anyone who has information or footage of the incident or from anyone who believes they may be a victim.
