Asda Community Champions give Pear Tree Mead a cash boost

THE ASDA Community Champions have just given a welcome cash boost to Pear Tree Mead school.
A spokesperson said: “It was so amazing to give Friends of Pear Tree Mead an Asda Foundation cheque for £1,000 towards PPE, stationery and uniform.
Headteacher Christine Peden said: “The money will help tremendously as it was especially difficult to fundraise without the usual fetes and events throughout the year”.
