THERE are fears that a number of people could be out of work as G4S is set to close part of its operation in Harlow.

Their base is on Sandringham Avenue, off Elizabeth Way in Harlow.

A spokesperson for G4S said: “We announced a review of our cash solutions operational footprint in the UK back in July of this year, to reshape the business to better align it with the changing needs of our customers. 

The Cash Centre in Harlow will close at the end of this month, but the Cash In Transit branch at the same location will remain open.

“Regrettably these changes will result in a reduction in headcount, but we have worked closely with individuals to offer opportunities for redeployment within the group”.
