Outdoor playgrounds can remain open, but must be used in line with the latest government public health rules. There are signs on each playground outlining the rules and the national restrictions and what this means can be read at www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Parks and open spaces will also continue to be accessible to all for daily exercise and the public toilets will stay open in the Town Park.

Under the government restrictions the following council-owned outdoor sports facilities will close from tomorrow (Thursday 5 November) and should not be used by the public:

· Tennis courts
· Basketball courts
· Multi-use games areas
· Skate park
· Town park outdoor gym equipment
