A spokesperson said: “There is no question that the business landscape is looking very different since the arrival of Covid 19. When we initially went into official lockdown on the 23rd March, I envisaged that within three months we would have returned to normality, six months later I am left wondering what normal will look like in the future?

As confidence returns, I aspire to forge a better sense of community and I aim to build stronger and more supportive relationships within our local business network.For me, one of the positive effects of this crisis has been watching how communities have come together to support each other whether that has been looking out for elderly neighbour, delivering groceries or just being someone who listens and cares.

I hope that as a business group we can learn from this andrealise that by working closely together we can utiliseour joint strength and expertise to help each other and the wider business society.

For a lot of organisations,I envisage that the landscape may have changed permanently, and some aspects of business will have altered forever. As a Recruiter the way that we work has been transformed, fortunately this reformation has enabled us to provide a faster, streamlined and more efficient service and I have confidence that embracing change and innovating will be key to our recovery.

I believe that the recruitment industry will be pivotal in mobilising the UK workforce and offering both support, advice and a helping hand as organisations as they adjust to the new nature of recruiting, from the adoption of new technologies such as video interviewing and virtual onboarding, to embracing flexible and remote workforces.
