M11 at Harlow shut due to serious collision

Statement from Fire Service
Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M11 near Harlow this morning.
On arrival, crews reported that three lorries had collided and one of the drivers was trapped.
Firefighters worked to rescue the driver by 8:30am and he was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
1050 hrs
M11 Southbound ALL LANES are now OPEN between Junction 7 (A414/Harlow) and Junction 6 (M25) following an earlier accident involving three HGV lorries. Queuing traffic remains back past Junction 7
1020 hrs
All vehicles either broken down or stranded in live lane have now safely made it over to the HS, traffic is now easing through, there maybe a slight delay to your journey pls plan well ahead.
Slow moving traffic on surrounding roads.
0920 hrs
Junction 7 southbound ENTRY slip is now OPEN and agencies are in the process of removing the full closure.
Traffic officers will be putting in a rolling road block if caught in the block.
Please comply with instructions.
0900 hrs
M11 Sbound Junc7 and Junc6 Lanes 2 and 3 are now open for “Trapped Traffic Only”
Emergency services appreciate your patience.
Please remember the full closure remains in place, lane 2 and 3 only OPEN for those vehicles caught within the closure.

Exit the M11 at J7 and follow the solid circle diversion symbol
0800 hrs
M11 southbound Junction 7 (Harlow) towards Junction 6 (M25).
Essex Police have decided to close the carriageway due to a serious accident.
