THE death of a New Zealand nurse in Harlow after he contracted Covid-19 has left his family back in New Zealand struggling with the way he died and wondering how long it could take to bring him home.

Much-loved Barclay Mason died last week following a battle with Covid-19.

Auckland Television has interviewed his daughter Casey O’Brien-Smith and her mother Megan O’Brien as the grieve as well as wonder when his body can be repatriated back to New Zealand.

His death on the other side of the world is further complicated by closed borders.

They don’t know how long it will take to bring his body home so they can finally say goodbye.
