McMullen Brewery, owners of The Hare donating 1000 Christmas Day meals to those alone

  • A Christmas message from McMullen Brewery
  • 2020 has been without doubt one of the hardest years we’ve ever faced as a community, but if there is one thing we can take from it, it’s that we’ve gone through it together.
No one should face Christmas alone or forgotten, be it our guests, team members or our wider community. Therefore, in a flurry of Ho Ho Ho we are offering 1,000 two course Christmas meals to anyone destined to spend Christmas Day alone.

We will be offering Christmas Day collections from a selected number of our pubs in the Home Counties and further afield.

In our industry we understand that we as people are inherently social beings, the value of our pubs to individuals and to communities is unmeasurable and we will always do our best to keep traditions going, and support the communities that keep us alive.

Over the last nine months there have been a number of times where our industry has felt rather alone, unappreciated and unsupported – it is time to ensure that there are not those in our local communities left feeling the same over Christmas.
