Covid 19-Harlow climbs to 7th in league table

HARLOW has climbed to its highest position in the Covid-19 league table.

The number of cases has risen to 1116 from yesterday’s figure of 1035.

This is a rate of 1281.8 cases per 100,000.

It now sits in 7th position out of 315 local authorities. Two places higher than yesterday.

This continues to confirm that we may be in a for a very difficult January and underline why the authorities have declared that the whole county has to be treated as the scene of a “major incident”.

YH understands that there are 185 Covid in-patients, including 12 on ventilators.

There are 83 outstanding test results.

Sunday: 1188.7 cases per 100,000

Saturday: 1093.4 cases per 100,000

Friday: 1130.2 cases per 100,000

Thursday: 1016.5 cases per 100,000

Wednesday: 939.5 cases per 100,000.

Tuesday: 1013.0 cases per 100,000

Monday: 987.7 cases per 100,000.

Sunday’s: 976.3 cases per 100,000.

Remember, these figures relate to December 30th and not today (January 3rd).

This places Harlow in 7th out of 315 local authorities.
