Covid 19: Number of cases in Harlow increases to 1192

HARLOW registered 1192 cases on January 1st.

That is an increase of 69 cases on December 30th.

This places Harlow 8th out of 315 local authorities in England.

This was an increase of 44.1% on seven days ago.

This continues to confirm that we may be in a for a very difficult January and underline why the authorities have declared that the whole county has to be treated as the scene of a “major incident”.

YH understands that there are 191 Covid in-patients, including 16 on ventilators.

There are 103 outstanding test results.

There are now 10 Covid wards at PAH. Lister, Locke, Penn, Harold, Kingsmoor, Charnley, John Snow, Henry Moore and ITU.
