Harlow playgrounds to remain open (but many places close)

Entertainment / Wed 6th Jan 2021 at 06:24am

HARLOW’S playgrounds will remain open during lockdown in line with the government’s guidance.

Families are asked to follow the public health advice signage on each playground to keep themselves safe.

The Pets’ Corner inclusive playground is currently closed due to the ground being muddy and slippery after recent wet weather. Works will be taking place to improve the situation.

Parks and open spaces will also remain accessible for exercise during lockdown.

In line with government guidance outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, multi-use games areas, outdoor gym equipment in the town park and the skate park should not be used by the public during lockdown.

Following the Christmas and new year break Harlow Museum Walled Gardens will remain closed for now.

ECCO have also taken the decision to close Parndon Wood Nature Reserve during lockdown.
