Sunday January 17th
Address: The Epping Golf Course, Flux’s Lane, Epping CM16 7PE From: 9am until 6pm.
In a COVID safe manner.
Firstly, I would like to thank you all so very much for supporting the giving on the 30th January 2020 – for the NHS frontline at PAH. The teams were so taken aback by the kindness and love shown in the gifts and the beautiful cards and messages that came with the donations – over 150 givers COVID safely delivered donations to me – Our local communities coming together as one to help at times of need.
I mentioned that we would be receiving again at the end of January as I didn’t want to have to ask again so soon – BUT I am afraid that, now more than ever, this is URGENT and DESPERATE and I need your help again.
The local communities and general public have stepped up and are being so generous. I know that these are tough times for so many but I am sure that those who can support us – will. We are still collecting snacks and drinks but now we also need toiletries.
Maria who is an Administrator at PAH is organising and distributing the donations. I asked Maria for a list of most needed items so that we can help them in the best way we can with what they need – the list is below.
The nurses will be so grateful. The donations not only help the NHS teams who are working up to 12 hour shifts but also desperately ill COVID patients who are admitted in a hurry without any toiletries and no visitors allowed in – which in effect gives the COVID teams more to worry about.
Let’s all make a difference and make their lives as bearable as possible whilst we go through these unprecedented times.
Needed items: Shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, face cleansing wipes, face spritzer, Sudocrem, eye masks, hand cream, hair combs/brushes, foot masks, foot cream, shaving foam/gel, deodorant, bottled water, drinks and of course packaged food items that can be eaten on the go.
Many thanks to Tesco’s in Epping for their generous gift voucher – we were able to start the ball rolling with the above list which I shopped for and delivered COVID safely to Maria yesterday.
Huge thanks to Will and Ellie Sjoberg at The Epping Golf Course for allowing us to use the Club House as a drop-off point for gifts on: Friday January 15th Saturday January 16th Sunday January 17th At: The Epping Golf Course, Flux’s Lane, Epping CM16 7PE From: 9am until 6pm. And all will be delivered on 18th January.
