HARLOW’S acclaimed theatre group Razed Roof have recently joined forces with The Old Vic as part of an on-line workshop.

A spokesperson said: “We have been able to link up with outreach work being run by The Old Vic.

Razed Roof are one of 10 groups selected from across the country to participate in their ‘ Curtain Up ‘ project.

These were three zoom drama workshops which use past productions from The Old Vic as stimulus for participants to develop performance skills.

“Our first workshop happened before Christmas ( based on  their production of A Christmas Carol ).

It was hugely enjoyed by Razed Roofers and one of our associates ,  Lancaster School .

“We also had another workshop which focusses on storytelling and uses some of the Old Vic’s monologues from The Greatest Wealth – monologues that trace the history through personal stories of the NHS” .
