A HARLOW man has been fined over £800 for vandalising a door in Old Harlow.

Lee Grant, aged 35, of Orchard Croft, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford Magistrates court.

On or about 04/07/2020 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged the front door of a house in The Oxleys, Harlow to the value of £881.56 belonging to Harlow Council intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged Contrary to sections 1(1) and 4 of the Criminal Damage Act 1971

He was fined a total of £881.00
