HEART4HARLOW are pleased to announce the launch of nominations for the Heart 4 Harlow Community Awards from the 1st February 2020.
Building on the legacy of the annual Heart 4 Harlow awards organised by Robert Findlay, the former Town Chaplain, the new awards will include a number of developments including:-

1. There will be an Annual Awards process as well as Spontaneous Awards, which may be awarded throughout the year.
2. The Annual Awards will be able to receive nominations any time between February and November, with all nominations published on our website, with publicity highlighting those nominated throughout the year. The hope is that receiving a nomination in itself will be an encouragement, irrespective of whether the nominee ends up as one of the winners.
3. People will be able to nominate individuals or whole organisations.
4. Nominations can be made under any one of Heart 4 Harlow’s five areas of ‘Partnership and
   Engagement’
   a. Commerce
   b. Civic
   c. Arts, Culture, Education and Sport
   d. Health & Wellbeing
   e. Churches and Chaplaincy.
5. Decisions about the winner and runner up in each category will be decided in December.
6. The Annual Awards presentation will be in January for the previous year A working group including
   people from a range of community partners, is being formed to decide what this will look like, but one of the key criteria will be to make it more accessible to everyday members of the community, without cost being a barrier.
7. Spontaneous Awards will be made by the Core Groups whenever it seems to them that it would be appropriate to respond quickly to a specific situation. These will also be listed on the website.
