A TEENAGER has been arrested following reports of a fire at Brenthall Towers in Potter Street.

The police were called shortly after 11.15pm on Monday 25 January, by colleagues at Essex County Fire and Rescue service, with reports of a fire at an address on Potter Street.

Officers arrived and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of arson and being in possession of a bladed article.

Thankfully, no one was reported injured.

The teenager has been bailed while enquiries continue.
