HOLY Cross Catholic Church is continuing to live stream masses.
There was a short break due to Covid-19 but now the Tracyes Road church is back on-line.
We have been impressed in the way that all faiths have remained engaged with their communities both on and off line.
If you wondered why the Christmas decorations are still up at Holy Cross, it is because Tuesday marks the feast of Candlemas
It falls on February 2, which is traditionally the 40th day of and the conclusion of the Christmas–Epiphany season. While it is customary for Christians in some countries to remove their Christmas decorations on Twelfth Night (Epiphany Eve), those in other Christian countries historically remove them after Candlemas.
