Harlow man caught drug-driving twice in five weeks

A HARLOW man was caught drug driving twice in just over five weeks.
Lee Shakespeare, aged 33, of The Downs, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford Magistrates Court to the following.

On June 28th, 2020 at Harlow drive a Ford Transit on Haydens Road, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, in your blood, namely 516 micrograms of analyte per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.
On August 4th, 2020 at Harlow drive a Ford Transit on Howard Way when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine
(BZE, cocaine breakdown product), in your blood, namely greater than 200 micrograms of drug per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit
For each offence Shakespeare was disqualified for eighteen months.
He was also fined a total of £500.00
